Andhra Pradesh Wants to Ban 132 Websites Including EA.com to Prevent Gambling

As we all know that, there are many digital betting platforms, and therefore, the state government
announced the ban on them. And that they also are progressing to announce new law through banning
various sites due to various betting promoting platform.

However, in a very letter addressed to the Union Minister for Communications and IT, Ravi Shankar
Prasad, Reddy said that the middle must intervene within the matter because it’s a matter of utmost importance to society. Per the report, a number of the notable websites that have earned the wrath of the Andhra CM include the likes of EA.com, MiniClip, Zapak et al., many of them don’t consequently have everything to through with betting.

Moreover, those that do come under the purview of online gambling include services like MPL (Mobile Premier League) and Paytm First Games which provide ‘fantasy sports’ platforms that usually promote ‘games of chance’ instead of ‘games of skill’, thereby matching the profile of online gambling platforms as described by the Andhra legislation. However, the Paytm allows a feature offering betting and gambling from Google with various violation of public policies because there are various events happened and many complaints regarding gambling and bettings because of which Andhra Pradesh government take action against it.

Furthermore, many users are asking about the blacklist, including legitimate gaming website during extra looking by doing real betting apps which feature various games and apps. But, these apps and website are promoting gambling and betting, which is very harmful to the basic public policy of a country as well as the state.
