PUBG Mobile Banned In India along With 118 Other Chinese Apps
Finally, After banning TikTok and lots of other apps, the Ministry of Electronics and knowledge Technology has banned PUBG Mobile in India.
“Under Section 64A, they are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace, The compilation of these data, its mining and profiling by elements hostile to national security and defence of India, which ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India, is a matter of very deep and immediate concern which requires emergency measures,”. -Ministry of electronic and information technology.
Although, Last month, it confirmed that they’re monitoring PUBG Mobile together with other 258 apps. By monitoring these apps, the Indian Government wanted to substantiate that the information of Indian citizens is safe from the hands of the Chinese Government.
Moreover, the reasons besides banning these additional 118 apps are analogous to what it had been back when TikTok was banned along with other apps like SHEIN and WeChat. The govt. So, it is totally against the privacy policy of a country for which all 118 Chinese apps are going to be banned in India. Afterward, the major alternative apps included within the list are Rise of Kingdoms, Art of Conquest, Arena of Valor, among others. But currently, there is no list of banned apps leak.

However, to forestall the ban in India, PUBG Mobile also changed its privacy policy specifically for India. However, it’s like even at that point, and the Indian Government decided to ban PUBG Mobile in India, which is extremely bad news for the Indian mobile gaming community.
